Jane Badler was born in Brooklyn, New York. Jane is well known for her role as the evil visitor leader, Diana in the NBC series ‘V’.
Jane Badler attended Manchester Memorial High School, New Hampshire. She won the title Miss New Hampshire and competed at the 1973 Miss America Pageant. Jane did drama at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She appeared in three stage plays prior to appearing on television. In 1989 Jane Badler moved to Australia.

Jane Badler appears in a Australian television commercial, which features Chevy Chase and is based around his National Lampoon Vacation movies. Jane had guest starring role in Snowy River: The McGregor Saga.
Rebecca - The Musical based on 'Rebecca' by Daphne du Maurier-book, in Concert Melba Hall, University of Melbourne on the 19th June 2004. Music was by Kevin Purcell, Lyrics and Book by Victor Kazan. The original direction was by Aaron Joyner-Director with Victor Kazan. The Musical is a haunting and suspenseful Gothic thriller set against the backdrop of the English Cornish coastline. With a sweeping score and eloquently evocative libretto, it is a musical adaptation of the timeless story. Actors on Rebecca - The Musical 2004 were Richard Thomas, Monique Pitsikas, Lauren Elise, Maureen Andrew, Jane Badler, Will Conyers, Ian Sandercoe, Robert Harsley, Sean Gunn and Katrina Wellins.
In recent years she has forged a career in cabaret and on the stage in archy and mehitabel, The Great Gatsby, The Singing Forest, Big Hair in America and two one-woman shows Shakin' the Blues Away at Melbourne’s Butterfly Club and The Love Goddess: Rita Hayworth. With a distinctly sultry voice, Badler’s career as a singer led to appearances on The Johnny Carson Show with Tom Jones, The David Letterman Show and with Australian performers like Paul Grabowski, Ruby Carter and Steve Sedergreen. Jane Badler has performed on stage in the Sextet, The Great Gatsby, Big Hair in America and All Het Up.
In 2007 Jane Badler has a cd Temptation, songs of lust and betrayal.
